Design Squad Global
Design Squad Global is a web-based community that grew out of the PBS Kids Design Squad television series. The website was designed to empower middle school students to solve real-world problems while understanding the impact of engineering in a global context. The website features creative activities, videos, interactive games, and interactive challenges. In addition, the website features lesson plans for teachers with topics including engineering design process, green design, structures, and simple machines. Design Squad helps to give children a stronger understanding of the design process and the connection between engineering and the things used in everyday life.
